Stampin Chic Colour challenge 2

This must be a record, my 3rd blog entry in 1 day......;-). This is my entry for the colour challenge 'Pink and Black' for the Stampin' Chic challenge blog. I love the pink and black colour combo.

Materials used: Papermania scalloped card stock, Black dotty card DCVW All dressed up card, stampin' chic party stamps, paper pieced and glittered. Prisma flower, papermania pearl brads, Mcgill fern punch, ribbon from stash, letter tiles from K and Co embellishment box.

How lucky am I??

Just thought I would show you all the new addition to my ever expanding craft collection. I know I am spoilt, my lovley hubbie must be after something...lol;-). This lovely set of Polychromos look so yummy almost too good to use....cant wait to get started on some colouring in!!

Creative Card Crew challenge

Hi, hope everyone is having a good Sunday. This is my entry for week 3 of the Creative card crew challenge, this week the challenge was to use 'warm colours'. I chose to use Kay Miller 'Its a spring thing' papers, there are some gorgeous designs in this set. The embossed card is coredinations and is embossed on my cuttlebug, with a Fiskars embossing template 'whimsy'. The main image and the sentiment were a freebie on the Do crafts creativity magazine. The flowers are stamped from Clare Curds signature range 'Doodles'. The ribbon was from my stash.

Good morning....I've got that Friday feeling!!! This is my entry for the Penny Black Saturday challenge, this week the challenge was 'doodling'. The image is coloured with Prismas and sansador, I love using these pencils (although have ordered a set of polychromos which will be here tomorrow, so these will replace my prismas). The paper is Kay Miller 'Its a Spring thing', which is gorgeous. The image is matted on coredianations,ribbon and buttons from stash. flowers are primas. Have a lovely Friday.

Stampin' Chic Sketch challenge 2

Good evening, this is my take on the Stampin' Chic sketch challenge 2. All products used are from the Clare Curd signature range, the paper is from 'The Big One' such gorgeous designs in here. Stamps are stamping chic-party and doodles. I coloured the stamp in with prismas and Sansador and paper pieced her trousers. The faux brads are from craftwork cards .

pink elephant challenge

This is my entry into this weeks Pink elephant challenge No 7, this week its a sketch challenge by Robin. I'm not all that thrilled with my card b to be honest, you know how some days things just don't seem to fall into place, well yesterday was one of them. Anyway I'll submit it any how.

I received a new cuttlebug back from the site I bought it from today, so this was an ideal sketch to play with, I embossed the pink Corediantions card with my cuttlebug and a fiskars embossing folder 'whimsy', the scalloped card is papermania, and the paisley stamp is Claire Curds signature range, ribon from stash and pink pearly doodles.

I've got a new toy!!

Just wanted to share my new toy with everyone, my lovely hubbie treated me last week to a Cricut create machine, it is lovely and so much fun. I am just working it all out at the moment and cutting everything in sight.....lol....the card I have added is not for any particular challenge, it was just one I did after playing with my Cricut and cut the purple mats, I think they are great. I think you will be seeing a lot more Cricutty things on this blog!!!..

Stampin' Chic challenge blog

Hi this is my first entry for the Stampin' chic challenge blog and I really enjoyed making this card, wasn't to sure for a bit and then it just came together. The challenge this week is limited supplies, only allowed to use one piece of paper. Quite hard actually with so many to choose from!!! (Don't let my husband hear me say that!)..;-)..the paper is a gorgeous digital design from Kay Millar, the paper pack is called Midnight in the garden, they are simply gorgeous, you should go take a look for yourselves. The card stock is papermania scalloped card. The stamp is form the Clare curd signature range and is the stampin' chic party set. These stamps are so funky and modern. Stamp is paper pieced and coloured with prismas and sansador. Ribbon from local haberdashery and brads from stash. Dots on scallops lilac pearly doodles.

Pink Elephant challenge

Hi there, havn't blogged at all this weekend, just hasn't been the time to be honest. The weather here has been gorgeous, hopefully spring has finally sprung!!!

The challenge on the Pink Elephant blog today is Buttons, The stamp is penny black, an acrylic set I bought from the Stevange show. Papers are basic grey, and K and co. Mats cut with nesties on cuttlebug , sentiment on pc, and ribbons and flowers and buttons from stash.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

This is hopefully my first of many Penny Black challenges. The recipe was 3,2,1...3 brads, 2 ribbons and 1 flower. This card was a design I saw on Create and Craft, thought it was lovely. Coredinations card and papermania scrumpteous papers, large papermania brad. Penny black stamp coloured with Prismas and blended with paper stumps and sansador. Other brads and ribbons from stash. I really enjoyed making this card, its nice to make a card away from he regular square shape. Hope you like it and look forward to receiving some comments from you lovely bloggers.

Spoonful of Sugar challenge

Two challenges in one day....whatever next!!!

This is a lovely challenge blog, I have often visited and nosed around.http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ The papers are all basic grey 'eva' and 'sultry', such lovely papers. The image is from the Clare Curd signature range from papermania, I stamped it first then I paper pieced it, and added some bling. Flowers punched out from coredinations and hand stitching effect (black gel pen)...lol..I really enjoyed making this card, hope you all like it too.

Creative card crew challenge

Hey im on a roll, found this new challenge Creative card crew and thought I would have a go. So heres my entry, the blog asked for 'Green', hope this fulfills the criteria.

Again I've used my new stamps from 'Daisy and Dandelion', 'Bubbles and Squeak'. It was stamped with memento Rich cocoa. The patternend cardstock was from a scrapbook pack Ive had for ages. The torn card is coredinations, I love this card.

Well I'm off to search for another challenge...think this is contagious!!...;-)

First sketch challenge!!

Well here is my first attempt at a sketch challenge for the 'pink elephant' challenge. Sorry about the poor picture quality, I was excited about getting it on here tonight and I'm unfortunately not David Bailey (as you may already have gathered).....the challenge is pink, green and brown, I have used all of these even thought the pink is hard to see.

I used Basic grey papers 'eva' and 'sultry', the image is from the new 'daisy and dandelion' range. This particular one is from the 'bubbles' and 'squeak' set as is the border. I think they are just gorgeous and tremendous value for money.

The ribbon was from my stash.

Well I hope my first attempt is ok and I look forward to some feedback.

This is only my second post and not sure I am doing it right....my main reason for creating this blog was to join in with the sketch challenges so I am going to have a go at one tonight. Hopefully will put the picture up tonight or maybe tomorrow.

Well here goes, this is my first attempt at blogging, I have been meaning to do this for ages. I love looking around at other peoples blogs and checking out all of your gorgeous creations, not sure how good I will be at it though, so be patient with me. Im hoping to do some blog challenges if I can work out how to put my cards on here..lol.....how come my kids can do this computer stuff quicker than me...im not that old...

Anyway Hopefully be back with a poist a bit later.
