Hi everyone, have been absent for a few days as our internet was playing up, had a new router yesterday so hopefully up and running again. What a beautiful Saturday it is really lovely and sunny here, got a quiet couple of hourr as hubbie has taken his children to MK shopping for a few hours...;-). Before I start another challenge card I thougt I would enter this card for the 'Challenge up your life' challenge blog, which is bingo. I have chosen a diagonal line from corner to corner which is flowers, button, and sparkle. I have decorated the inside to complimetn the front. Hope you like it.

Wow don't fall over in shock I know its been ages since I blogged, been ever so busy with one thing or another, Summer holidays, decorating, my Son got married etc etc etc....anyway I have managed to make a card for challenge. It is a new challenge blog called 'saturated Canary challenge', the blog is owned by krista Smith who has the most amazing digi stamps to buy. Go take a look, they are soooo cute.

The image I have used is called 'Ivy', I love her glasses, you see a lot of youngsters wearing these 'geek' glasses, (they dont even need to wear glasses, fashion eh??..;-)

totally gorgeous challenge

Good morning everyone, hope everything is fine and dandy where you are. Quite a nice sunny day in Bedford, although at 8 am this mornign when I cycled to the
Danish camp (which is about 5 miles from me)and back it was quite cold, was even thinking I should of worn gloves...mind you I soom warmed up when I had to cycle up the bridge over the bypass...phew...oh well its all gonna help me get back to fitness and lose the weight i have gained since my operation, sitting about for 6 weeks has done me no favours, I can tell you.

Anyway enough fo my rabble, the card today is for the totally gorgeous challenge which is 1,2,3. I have used the new me to you range from do crafts, I love these little bears and thought they would make a lovely card for a friends Mum which she asked me to make. I also made a co-ordinating box, hope my friend likes it. My 1,2,3 is I amage, 2 bouquets of flowers and 3 letters of the alphabet.

Good Monday morning everyone, its quite a nice morning in Bedford, actually managed to put some washing out, after Hubby had washed it and then put it in the basket and placed outside for me. Not allowed to load or unload the washing machine either, or pick up the post off the door mat!!..I know its for my own good, you just take for granted all of the things you do in a day. Did have a slow walk back from the Drs this morning, infortunately I've picked up an infection but hopefully the antibiotics will sort it out soon enough. Look what I've got!!

How lucky am I??? My very own craft room, I've been wanting this room for so long and I really appreciate it. Unfortunately it came with a price, my daughter leaving home to start her new life with partner and new baby, its a natural progression I know. My youngest Connor inherited her big room and his old room is now mine. I got the units on Thursday from Ikea, I wanted it done as Im going to have a hysterectomy at the beginning of March and obviously didn't wanna be shifting stuff around, apart from that I will need something to do..;-). Its so lovely having everything to hand, I don't even have to get off my chair, because its got wheels..lol;-)

Teddy Bo's second challenge

Hi everybody hope your week has gone well, almost the weekend already....can't beleive its February next week...my Grand-daughter was 4 weeks old on Wednesday and she smiles all the time bless her heart.

Anyway the card I am showing today is for the Teddy Bo challenge which is 'seeing double'. I repeated the same image twice and the same flower. This is the 2nd challenge using these gorgeous Digi images, I wish them every success in the future!
gave the card an added twist by adding a little chocolate to pop inside, thought this looked quite sweet.

Good afternoon everyone, hope you all had a great weekend. We had dinner with hubbies Mum and Dad yesterday, which was lovely. My M-I-L is amazing, in September last year she had diverticulitis and septacaemia and wasn't expected to live, she is now up and running and almost back to full health, she is 78 years old and a true inspiration. Bless her heart!!!

Here to show my first card with the new 'Simply Adorables' digis from Sugar Nellie, I have been waiting for these to come out and had to have all of them, my husband thinks they are scary??..I think they are gorgeous..this one is the lovely Verity,
I coloured her with my copics, which I now have both sets of 72....they are so yummy to use. I am entering this card for the Friday Sketchers challenge this week, I love following sketches, makes it so easy if your stuck for ideas.

Hello everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you a happy, healthy New Year. I have been a really bad blogger, what with one thing and another, (cant think what the reasons are now, you know how it is though, theres always something else more important to do), I still read the blogs avidly everyday, just havnt been posting. I have completed a few challenge cards this week, so hopefully should get the blogged...;-)
We were lucky enough to become Grandparents for the 2nd time on the 29th December, my daughter Victoria had a baby girl Erin Olivia, 9lb 1 oz.....i was there at the birth which was amazing if not very scary at the end, the babys shoulders got stuck and the alarm bell was pressed and loads of people came in to help get the baby out as quickly as possible, it was really scary. Bless her heart Victoria coped with it all really well, was quite a painful labour and she managed with gas and air and pethidine. They are still with us at the moment so I'm getting plenty of cuddles. She is beautiful...here is a pic

Picture for Brodies 1st birthday

I cant beleive my grandson Brodie will be a year old tomorrow. I made this picture for his bedroom, I couldnt resisit the Mo Manning image, Brodie absolutely adores dogs and his Nans dog quite happily lets Brodie lay all over him, unfortunatley our dog Remy is not quite so happy with Brodie, he keeps out of his way.

Brodie is an absolute dream, he is such a good little boy and I love him to the moon and back again.

Good afternoon its been a lovely day here in Bedford, my husband returned from a business trip in Holland last night so we just spent the day with eachother its been lovely, we went to the local country park and flew the kite, it was really relaxing.

My card today is for 2 challenges, the first is Fussy and fancy challenge, which asks for christmas colours and Truly Scrumpteous challenge which is a sketch. The image I have used is a digi from 'all that scraps' and is called Christmas Emma, I love these images, such a pleasure to colour, which is so lovely to do now with my yummy copics.;-)

Hello everyone, just thought I would show you firstly my birthday pressie, how lucky am I? It was my birthday on Monday and I was lucky enough to get enough cash to purchase 72 copic pens, thay are just so yummy...I keep stroking them and rearranging them in the case...lol...sad I know.;-)

The 2nd pic is a card I have made for the Charisma card challenge blog. The challenge asks 'Something new' so I thought using my copics as its the first time I have used them was very apt. I made an easel card, I love this design and use it quite a lot. (pr. sorry about the picture quality, not sure what happened there....sorry!!)

Hello everyone, I have been absent form blogging for a while, I have been crafting but not entering challenges. I have still been nosying about on everyones blogs, as we all know how addictive and time consuming that is.

The 2 cards I am showing today are a wedding card I have made for an order, I was pleased with how it turned out to be honest, I have used the Elegant Soiree papers which are gorgoeus and these are a digital download form Stampin Up. The text is cut on my cricut and the ribbon and pearls are from my stash. The tickent sentiment are from Bearly mine designs.

The 2nd card is for my Sons 23rd birthday which is today, so he now has the card. I can't beleive he is 23, where does the time go?? makes me feel old!!! Anyway we popped over to seeh im today in his new house, I took him a yummy chocolate cake which we all had a slice of...YUM YUM!!! Happy Birthday Kieran...I love you!!!

Anyway enough of me for today, one more day and I'm backat work, I have been off for 2 weeks, its gonna be a shock I think.

Magnolia-licious and stamp with funchallenge blogs

Hi everyone, hope you are all well...I havn;t blogged for a while, with the school holidays just started. I have done some crafting, I went to an all day crafting event run my my friend Carol, who runs our local stamp class. We made some lovely christmas cards with some yummy stampin up godies. Hello everybody, hope the sun is shining wherever you are....it is lovely again here....3 days in a row, we are getting spoilt...;-)

Just though I would show you 2 cards I made at card class on Tuesday night, Carol decided we would make some different shaped cards and I made a Tri-shutter card and a side-step card, it was lovely to make something in a differetn shape.

The tri-shutter I made for my husbands nephews 21st which we are going to on Saturday and the side step card is a just for you card.

Greeenhouse garden set

Hope everyone has had a good Saturday, Bedford has been very warm, can I say it MUGGY!, the first day so far I have felt it a little unpleasant...they say we may have thunderstorms which hopefully will clear the air. I havn't been up to much today as Hubby has done his back in and in quite a bit of pain, so have had lots of time crafting and managed to make another card set from my Stampin Up goodies.
And they are not copies from anyone elses ideas...all mine...I feel quite proud as I usually struggle with ideas. Hope you like them.

Some stampin up makes

Hi everyone, hope everyone has enjoyed the long weekend, I certainly have, had lots of time to craft and mess around. The weather heree has nopt been the greatest to be honest, must admit to putting the heating on a bit earlier....well I'm not gonna sit and be cold for nobody.

Anyway onto the things I have made today, the Handbag was a tutorial I bought from Becky Roberts who is a stampin up demo in the states I beleive, I just love it, and think it would be great with a pressie in, what an extra special gift bag. I have used the new Cottage Wall papers, I am actually in love with these papers, and Rich Razzleberry cardstock. Buckles cut on cricut and bling from the Hobbyhouse.

The cards in the card box were ideas from Jo Dumbleton who is also a Stampin up demo, she has some lovely work on her blog, hope you don't mind me pinching your ideas Jo. Again these are using the lovely Cottage wall DP's and rich razzleberry for the box. The flowers and stamps are from the Vintage Vogue stamp set. If you would like to purchase any of this yummy stuff my local Stampin Up demo is my lovely friend Carol, and she would be more than happy to help.

I have used a Magnolia image again and this one came from the Fall 2009 stamp club. I have coloured her in using Polychromos and sansador. The papers are Papermanias'Rose Garden. Martha Stewart deep border punch and lots of Diamond stickles.

Just Magnolia challenge

Thought I would enter a second card today being as I had it made already, while I'm here....lol;-)

I really enjoyed making this card, I think its really pretty. i have entered the Just Magnolia challenge which is 'One for the girls'. I have used the Magnolia Tilda image form the Spring Magnolia kit, the butterflies and dragonflies are also from the kit. The flower I made using the fantasy flower from the kit, I stamped it 4 times and joined them together, quite a good effect I thought.

I coloured all of the images with my Polychromos and blended with sansador. the images have been glitzed with Diamond Stickles. The papers are Papermanias gorgoeus Rose Garden papers, I can see myself getting more of these they are lovely. The crochet flower is from Wild Orchid crafts, and the gems form my stash.

Hi there, finally I have got round to blogging, not sure why I havn't been around to be honest...one thing and another I guess, doing my Nvq also at the moment so that is taking up some of my time, and the weather has been a little nicer so you feel more inclined to be busy around the house.

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday? We have been to Milton Keynes today for a little bit of retail therapy....and then we had lunch in Wagamamas...it was yummy. Off out tonight for a 70th birthday bash and then I have my Grandson Brodie over for the night tomorrow and my Mum over for Sunday lunch...quite a busy weekend.

Penny Black Saturday

Wow I am being a very good blogger this week, 4 days in a row.....lets see how long we can keep it up...;-)

Well the sun did manage to come out yesterday and it was glorious here in Bedford, in fact at lunchtime hubbie and I went out on our bikes into town to do a few chores and then cycled along the embankment which was beautiful and then through Priory Marina, (stopping for a light snack and a drink) before cycling home, it was so lovely!!

Anyway my card for today is for the Penny Black challenge blog which this week is a sketch designed by Carole. I always look at this challenge but do not very often take part, I think that should change.

Hi, my post today is 2 cards for the Funky Hand monthly challenge blog (which last month I was flattered to come in the top 5....I was so pleased...thanks Anice!!), which this month is Girls, girls, girls. The cards I amde are for an order for a friend who wanted Mother's day cards for her Mum and her partners Mum. So I though I would do the same but different colours. I also made matching envelopes for each of them.

Hope everyone is well after the weekend....it is cold and yukky here in Bedford, have had very light flurries of snow on and off all day, lets hope the cold weather is not returning.

Connected Girl.....

Morning everyone....hope everyone is dry and warm? Bedford has nearly thawed out, so we just have some small areas of slushy messy snow left.
My card today is for a new challenge on PCP, the image is from Phindy's place which has some lovely images and very reasonable too. The challenge was for 'something new and different'. So my image is new, and the paper pleating is new to me too.
I coloured the image in with promarkers and added a punched flower and charm and a stamped sentiment. The papers are from a papermania 6 x 6 pad.

Good evening everyone, I am glad to be inside all warm and toasty....youngest son been dropped at his Dads for the weekend, after he has been at home most of the week due to school closures.....he gets so bored at home, he has special needs , diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay and needs a lot of attention...so he is so much better off at school...bless his heart...anyway it leaves me more time to colour and be crafty...woo hoo I have all weekend...How lovely...

Hi everyone, no card today just thought I would show you a picture of my gorgeous grandson Brodie, who was 6 weeks old in this picture, it was last week when he came over to visit, his smile is just adorable. I am picking him up and having him to myself on Wednesday, I can't wait. Ane next week he is coming for his 2nd sleepover, mind you the last time he came I didn't sleep much, I was worried to death something would happen...."is he too hot??...too cold???....LOL;-)...you wouldn;t think I have had 4 children, hopefully it gets easier each time I have him.
